How does it work?

Our process is simple and hassle-free. First, gather your key fobs. Next, request a prepaid shipping label from us. Finally, ship the key fobs to us, and receive payment once we have received and processed your shipment.

How do I get paid?

The payment process is the exciting part! We offer two payment options - either via business check or PayPal. Please indicate your preferred payment method by selecting the appropriate box on your packing slip.

How much do you pay for key fobs?

Our key fob prices are dynamic and fluctuate similarly to the stock market, based on supply and demand. Additionally, the condition of the key fob can also influence the price. To obtain an accurate overview of pricing, please request a quote for your specific remotes.

What is the minimum number of remotes you will buy?

We do not have any minimum amount of remote to be bought

What is your turnaround time?

Upon receiving your key fobs, it typically takes us 5-7 business days to process them and issue payment. You will receive an itemized list of the key fobs you have sent, along with your payment, so that you are aware of the amount we paid for each key fob.

However, please note that due to the current surge in shipments, there might be a delay in processing times. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience during this busy period.

Do you pay for shipping?

Absolutely! If you are shipping 10 or more key fobs, you are eligible for free shipping. To request your prepaid shipping label, please click here or call us at

How does shipping work if I'm located in the U.S.?

If you are located within the United States, we offer free shipping on qualifying shipments. To obtain your shipping label, please complete our shipping label request form. Once you receive your label, simply attach it to your package(s) and send them to us.

How does shipping work if I'm located in Canada?

If you are based in Canada, there is no need to complete our shipping label request form. You can simply send your key fobs to us, and we will reimburse you $19.95 USD for qualifying shipments. The reimbursement will be added to your payment.

For instance, let's say you send a shipment of key fobs worth $100 USD, and we qualify it for reimbursement. In this case, you will receive a check for $119.95 USD, including the reimbursement. Your invoice will reflect the reimbursement as a separate line item.

Can I have a quote for my key fobs?

Yes, of course! To receive a quote for your key fobs, fill out this form and choose the "Quote for your Key Fobs" option. We will process your quote request within one business day.

How should I ship my key fobs to you?

We suggest using USPS with tracking information for shipping your key fobs. You can use any box to package all of your key fobs. If you need to ship your fobs in multiple boxes, please request a new shipping label for each additional box.

Do you buy all key fobs?

While Cash Now Remotes purchases a vast majority (about 95%) of the key fobs available, there are currently some models that we are not accepting.

What do you do with valet keys and key blades?

Our sorting team removes all valet keys, key blades, tags, key chains, and any other non-key fob items before processing. This helps us save time and get you paid faster, while also allowing us to recycle any materials that can be recycled.

What do you do with key fobs you don't purchase?

We have two options for the remotes that we don't purchase.

First, we can return them to you for no additional charge if you request it. On our packing slip, there is a checkbox for you to indicate that you want your key fobs returned.

Second, if you don't request to have your key fobs returned, we will recycle them appropriately.

Does it matter that the cases on the remotes are cracked and the buttons are worn?

While it's not a problem to send in damaged remotes, keep in mind that the value of these remotes may be reduced based on their condition.
